Modules

Modules are a cluster of roles per functional part of a model, that define the application scope. You can use them to define the boundaries of functional parts of a model, which allows you to limit the available functionality of applications in IAM.

note

Do not confuse modules with default user groups and role groups. For more information, see Default user groups and Role groups.

You can create or edit modules on the Modules. Drag and drop roles from the list of available roles onto the list of included roles (or use the arrow button at the top of the lists) to add roles to the module.

note

Any roles that are not assigned to a module will always be deployed by default.
