Start objects are screens, tasks, reports, or processes that are automatically loaded during start-up.

To add start objects for a user group:

menu Authorization > User groups > tab Group preferences > tab Start objects

  1. Add start objects and put them in the preferred order.
note

Start objects for a user group are executed first, followed by the start objects for users. However, the GUI shows the start object that was last executed by the user first.

Default prefilters

Here you can enable or disable specific prefilters for a user group. Authorization prefilters cannot be disabled.

Copy existing group preferences

You can copy all the existing group preferences from one user group to another. If a preference setting already exists, this value will NOT be changed.

To copy existing group preferences:

menu Authorization > User groups > tab List

  1. Select the user group(s) to which you want to copy existing preferences.

  2. Execute the task Copy preferences Copy preferences.

  3. In the Copy preferences popup, specify the tenant and user group from which you want to copy the existing preferences.

  4. Click Execute.

note

If a user is a member of several groups, a conflict can arise between different preferences from the different groups, such as a different layout. In that case, the user will receive the preferences of the user group with the highest priority (a lower number means a higher priority).
